To maintain good reading habits on break, Ms. Dana Hashash and Ms. Hanane Mokalled organized Marshmallow reading challenges for their Grade 4 students. Each student chose 10 different reading challenges from the challenges’ list that contains 40 items, such as how, where, what and with whom to read. Students were free to choose any story they want as long as it is grade-level appropriate. They then set a time for each challenge to be completed. Once accomplished, they added it to the chocolate cup they have previously prepared, and finally decorated it when they completed all their challenges.
Through fun activities, we help keep the word “reading” harmonious to our students!
