Daroun Aintoura Hiking Trip

Grade 11 students went on a hiking trip to Daroun Aintoura, where they discussed the importance of heritage and identity, relating to the themes of Ghassan Kanafani’s story “The Land of Sad Oranges.” In nature, students used their senses to inspire writing pieces, reflecting on personal symbols of identity. This experience emphasized a deep connection to their own land and allowed students to explore and express their heritage in a meaningful way.
