Ahliah’s College and Career Guidance Program provides students with opportunities to explore different career and college choices which match their interests and needs while highlighting the requirements of the job market. The program also supports students with their applications to colleges in Lebanon and abroad.
October was a busy month for our Career and College Guidance Department. The counselor visited classes to assist students with their college and career research and to promote their readiness for their post-secondary goals. The school reached out to prominent educational institutions in its community where orientation sessions were organized to allow students to explore the different majors offered by these institutions while providing students with better insight into the admission requirements of each. The school hosted orientation sessions by the Lebanese American University, American University of Beirut, and Haigazian University.
The students were also invited to the LAU Open Days where they met LAU students, faculty, and staff and were able to explore the facilities offered at LAU campus.
The school connected students with representatives from Notre Damme University where students registered for personalized orientation sessions with NDU admission representatives through the NDU “Meet the Expert Program”.
Students who are interested in pursuing their education abroad were invited to the Studypedia College Fair which connected students with educators from Ireland, UK, France, Spain, Germany, USA, Italy, and many more.
We had a busy October, and we’ve already started planning for November. It’s college applications season and we’re fully prepared for it.
