As part of Ahliah School’s mission to ensure the safety and the well-being of its students, the head of health and safety department Ms.Naima Kayal conducted a series of professional development sessions for Ahliah faculty and Staff to ensure their readiness during emergency scenarios and to develop their capacity in handling child protection matters.
The sessions elaborated the school’s child protection policy where the faculty and staff got re-acquainted with and discussed the different types of abuse and bullying. The faculty and staff elaborated on the school’s procedures for reporting suspected abuse and the safe techniques to handle the disclosure of abuse.
Moreover, the sessions highlighted the school fire procedures and expanded on the school fire, lockdown, and earthquake drills.
