Ahliah Alumni Athletes: Where Are They Now?

At Ahliah School, we are proud of our alumni who continue to shine both academically and athletically. Many of our graduates have gone on to represent their universities in competitive sports, carrying the Ahliah spirit with them. Here are some of their inspiring stories.

Mia Jammal (Class of 2020–2021)

Mia is pursuing a degree in Computer Science at AUB. She also plays center back on the AUB Women’s Football Team, where her discipline and teamwork skills shine. Mia represents the balance of determination and intellect that we encourage at Ahliah.

Maysam Makkouk (Class of 2021-2022)

Maysam is currently studying Business at AUB and playing midfield for the AUB Women’s Football Team. Her leadership and agility on the field reflect her drive for success both in academics and sports.

Aya Boukhari (Class of 2019–2020)

Aya is studying Graphic Design at the American University of Beirut (AUB). She has been a strong presence on the AUB Women’s Football Team, playing as a center back. Her passion for the game and her dedication to academics embody the well-rounded spirit of Ahliah alumni.

Rabah Safsouf (Class of 2022-2023)

Rabah is studying Business Management at the Lebanese American University (LAU), where he plays handball at a competitive level. Competing in Division 1 of the Lebanese League, he has won multiple awards for his outstanding athletic achievements. Rabah’s success is an inspiration for current Ahliah students with big dreams in sports

The success of our alumni athletes is a reminder that every training session, tryout, and every moment on the field can open doors to future opportunities. We encourage our current Ahliah students to embrace sports with dedication and passion. A pathway to health and teamwork, but also as a chance to represent their school and themselves at higher levels. We also invite parents to continue supporting their children in pursuing athletics, as it builds resilience, confidence, and lifelong skills. These Alumni remind us that the values of Teamwork, resilience and passion cultivated at Ahliah extend far beyond graduation. We are proud to see them excel in their studies and on the playing field, and we look forward to following their continued success.
