At Ahliah School, learning goes beyond textbooks. And our Grade 5 balloon twisting class is a perfect example of that. What may seem like a fun activity at first glance turned out to be a dynamic learning experience that nurtured a wide range of skills in our students.
Through the art of balloon twisting, students were encouraged to explore their creativity and imagination by visualizing and crafting a variety of balloon designs. The activity also enhanced their sense of color coordination and artistic expression.
Beyond creativity, balloon twisting helped improve essential fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Twisting, shaping, and tying balloons required precision, control, and focus — all while keeping the process enjoyable and engaging.
