Biography

Ms. Leila Khauli is a full time Lecturer at the Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut since the year 2000.

Ms. Khauli studied at Ahliah school for a period of time. She is the grand-daughter of Boulos Khauli, a founding member of the Ahliah School BoT. She holds a Masters of Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and Econometrics from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.

Ms. Khauli has taught courses at the Undergraduate and Graduate level in the fields of Marketing and Economics. She has introduced and coordinated several highly specialized courses at the school and was nominated three times for the teaching excellence award at AUB. Her research interest lies in how brands and organizations are adopting digital strategies in the region. Ms. Khauli is also a Communication Consultant and has worked with local and regional brands specializing in Brand Strategy and communication. She conducts workshops and lectures on digital branding and developing social media presence for local and regional organizations. She has been nominated for the Teaching Excellence Award for the academic years 2007-2008, 2011-2012, and 2012-2013.
