The enrollment of any candidate depends only on his/her academic performance in his/her previous school and Ahliah placement test, regardless of applicant’s, gender, religious belief and nationality. Ahliah has the resources and support programs to accommodate students with mild learning or physical disabilities. 

Ahliah placement tests cover English and Arabic reading and language skills, computation and problem-solving skills in Mathematics, as well as general science skills in Physics, and Chemistry in secondary levels. Pre-School applicants are interviewed for assessment.

Scheduling the Placement Assessment

The school will contact you by phone or email to assign a date for the Placement Assessment.

Interviewing Process

A member of the admission committee will interview the student with his parent/guardian.

Last Decision

The admission/non-admission decision for the candidate will be issued in writing 10 days after the exam date. Parents will receive a letter informing them of the decision, copy of the schedule of the tuition fees and other payments for the academic year and other relevant documents.

Things To Know First

The placement assessment process differs by grade level as indicated below:

Preschool (KGI-KGIII)

  • Students are invited for an observational/practical assessment to determine school readiness.
  • The sessions is generally conducted one-on-one and last approximately 30 minutes.
  • Students in the early childhood program must be toilet trained.

Grade 1 – 6

  • Assessment is conducted generally in a small group or one-on-one basis as required.
  • Assessments encompass literacy and numeracy skills and last approximately one hour.

Grade 7-10

  • Placement tests are in Math, English and Arabic proficiency

Grade 11-12

  • Grades 11- 12 applicants sit for placement test in Math, English and Arabic proficiency in addition to physics and chemistry for scientific sections.

Where to submit necessary documents?

Applications not submitted through the online method can be submitted to the Administration Office with the following documents:

  1. The completed application form
  2. One recent passport picture
  3. One photocopy of the I.D. Card
  4. A transcript of grades for the last 2 years
  5. A non-refundable application fee of 20$
