Ahliah student Yasmine Obeid participated in the annual Jawdat Haydar Poetry Recital that took place virtually on the 23rd of April.
Yasmine, a distinguished Ahliah student, has always demonstrated exceptional talent in performing arts and a passion for literature and poetry. After putting in a remarkable performance at school as part of the Drama class, she was selected to represent the school in the annual Jawdat Haydar Poetry Recital event which took place virtually this year due to the pandemic restrictions with the participation of twelve schools.
Yasmine’s performance was captivating and received high commendation by Ms. Shahina Oseiran, the daughter of the renowned Lebanese poet Jawadat Haydar.
