Preschool’s Mother’s Day gathering

Ahliah School counselor, Ms. Sandra Ziadeh, Head of Preschool Division, Ms. Elissar Jalloul, and the Communications Coordinator, Ms. Marwa Jaber, organized a Mother’s Day gathering with preschool mothers and/or guardians, on March 22, 2021, to show appreciation for mothers on their special day through an activity that allows them to share their experiences.

Ms. Elissar and Ms. Sandra launched this activity by welcoming preschool mothers and/or guardians. Ms. Marwa then introduced an interactive game that consisted of two parts, a spinning wheel that included the participants’ names, and closed boxes with hidden questions.

As the game began, Ms. Marwa spun the wheel, and the selected participant chose a number of box (total of 15) that included a question about motherhood. Mothers were able to share their own experiences, relate to others, and learn from one another.

Participants enjoyed their time, thanking the organizers for allowing them to reflect on their experiences as mothers. They expressed their excitement for playing a game, rather than just talk. They were also very pleased with the interactions among each other. Everyone expressed gratitude to belonging to a community that not only tends to children’s needs, but also to their own.
