Grade 7 students’ interpretations of the Cell Theory

Grade 7 students learned about Cell Theory during their Science classes. They portrayed their understanding of the topic by designing brochures which explained their interpretations of the Cell Theory. Here is s a glimpse of how they chose to present their work. Encouraging and guiding students to interpret educational material from different perspectives improves and deepens their understanding of the concepts being taught, and facilitates the development of skills. They begin to observe and to communicate their thinking based on their observations, to construct reasonable explanations to answer the questions they asked.
